Cantrell killed in Iraq protecting freedom

A former Marine working as a civilian security contractor was killed in a roadside attack near Baghdad on Saturday, making him the first local casualty of the war in Iraq.
Jim Cantrell, 28, was employed by Blackwater Security Consulting and was one of two people killed in the attack on a multi-vehicle motorcade. Another Blackwater employee traveling with them was injured, U.S. Department of State officials said Sunday.
